For the 14th year, our church will partner with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironton, Ohio, to provide over 1,700 children in Lawrence County with school supplies and backpacks. Nearly one of every two students in Lawrence County is classified as economically disadvantaged. Teachers in the area have expressed their gratitude to St. Paul’s, and in turn churches like ours, that provided the necessary supplies to help these kids get off to a good start in the fall.

The giveaway has turned into a community festival with different churches and community groups providing haircuts, new socks, information booths, food and inflatables!

All Saints will collect school supplies and backpacks July 2 through 31. We will deliver and participate in the Giveaway on Aug. 5.

We are already collecting monetary donations here in order to get a head start on ordering paper, binders, and spiral notebooks at deep discount through several suppliers.

If you are able to donate money, supplies and/or time, we would greatly appreciate it. We also need cookies to take with us when we go to Ironton.

Sign up sheets and collection bins will be located in the “Tools For School” Hallway, or contact Jason at Jason.wheeler12@gmail.com or Ruth Ford at ruthf@saintsonhigh.org with any questions.
